Research → draft → risk scan → your call

Everything you need to rank on Google.
Nothing you'd have to take down.

Writelio researches the gap, writes the article, scans every claim for legal risk, and publishes to 10 destinations — then proves ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews actually cite you. Approval is on by default.

The honest part

Autopilot content is a liability, not a strategy.

Every other AI writer sells the same thing: publish while you sleep, without lifting a finger. Not one of them mentions who is accountable for what gets published.

The FTC has already brought enforcement actions over unsubstantiated marketing claims. “The AI wrote it” is not a defence. Ninety unreviewed articles a month is not leverage — it is ninety chances to publish a claim you cannot back up.

So Writelio does the opposite. AI does the work. You decide what ships.

How it works

Find it. Write it. Clear it. Publish it. Prove it.

Five steps. The third one is the one no other tool has.

01
Find the gap

Gap Writer finds what competitors rank for that you don’t — real volume, real difficulty. 37 clusters, 735,810 clicks/mo of opportunity.

02
Write it

It reads Google, the SERP and real Reddit and Quora threads before writing a word — then drafts for SEO, AEO and GEO.

03
Clear it

Claim Guard scans every sentence for unsupported claims and legal exposure — and rewrites the risky ones.

04
Publish it

One click to WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, Shopify, Framer, Medium, Hashnode, HubSpot, Notion or any webhook.

05
Prove it

Then we watch ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews — and tell you the day they start citing you.

Writelio's article pipeline mid-run: finding your keyword, studying Google and reading the community are complete; building your strategy is waiting for your approval
Inside the engine

Most tools ask an LLM to write. We do the homework first.

Before a single word is written, Writelio reads the SERP, your competitors, and what real people are actually asking.

Way in #1
Start from a topic

Give it a topic in plain English. Claude extracts a clean seed keyword — then pauses and shows it to you, so you can correct it before a cent is spent on research.

Way in #2
Beat a competitor

Paste the URL of the article that outranks you. Writelio scrapes it, pulls out the keywords it targets, the gaps it leaves and the angles it’s weak on — then writes the piece designed to beat it.

Live sources, read in this order, every run
01Keyword data
First: what is actually worth writing?

Real search volume and difficulty — scored against each other. Low-volume keywords are filtered out before we go further, unless the difficulty makes them winnable. You set the floor.

02Google
Then: who already wins, and why?

The live page-one results for that keyword, and every People Also Ask question — filtered down to the ones that genuinely matter.

03
Then: what do real people actually say?

Live Reddit and Quora threads, mined for the pain points people voice and the gaps every existing article leaves. This is why it sounds like it knows something.

04Long-tail
Then: every question worth a heading

Long-tail, question and related keywords pulled in parallel, merged and deduped — the strongest become your H2s.

05Semantic
Then: the terms Google expects to see

The related concepts a page on this topic should contain — plus the content angles your competitors missed entirely.

06SEOAEOGEOAIO
Only then does it write.

All of it becomes a scored plan: each surface rated 0–100, an intro angle, the statistics to cite, E-E-A-T signals — and a word-count floor derived from intent, difficulty and community depth. Not a round number someone guessed.

One real run, before it wrote a single word

170

3
competing articles read and pulled apart
14

5

78/100

Then it stops and asks you.

Strategy, outline, headline, final draft — you can approve each one, or let it run. That is the whole difference: the machine does the work, you keep the judgement.

Four surfaces, one article

People don’t only search on Google any more.

They ask ChatGPT. They read the AI Overview. They never click. An article written only for blue links is already losing three of the four places your buyer looks — so Writelio writes for all four, and scores each one 0–100 before you publish.

SEO
Search Engine Optimisation
Can Google rank it?

The classic game: the right keyword at the right difficulty, a structure that matches search intent, clean on-page signals and internal links.

Writelio picks the keyword on real volume vs difficulty, mirrors the winning SERP structure, and inserts your internal links.
AEO
Answer Engine Optimisation
Can it be the answer?

Featured snippets, People Also Ask, voice results. The zero-click world — where being quoted matters more than being clicked.

Writelio mines every People Also Ask question, answers each one directly, and ships FAQ schema so engines can lift it.
GEO
Generative Engine Optimisation
Will ChatGPT cite it?

Generative engines quote what they can verify. They favour specific claims, real statistics, clear attribution and genuine expertise — and ignore vague filler.

Writelio builds in citable statistics and E-E-A-T signals — then Claim Guard strips the unverifiable claims that get you skipped.
AIO
AI Overview parsability
Can an AI read it cleanly?

Google’s AI Overviews sit above every blue link. They summarise pages that are easy to parse — and skip the ones that aren’t.

Writelio enforces a clean heading hierarchy, short extractable answers and structured data the overview can lift.
And it scores all four while you write.

No guessing whether it’s “good enough”. The editor grades every draft on each surface, live — so you fix the weak one before it goes out, not three months later.

The Writelio editor scoring a draft live: overall optimisation 86 out of 100, with SEO 94, AEO 88, GEO 95 and AIO 63 shown as dials. AI parsability is flagged as the weak surface, with three specific fixes listed underneath.
Claim Guard — only in Writelio

AI writes it. Your lawyer doesn’t have to read it.

Before an article can publish, Claim Guard reads every sentence and flags the ones that could get you in trouble: unsupported statistics, absolute performance claims, implied guarantees, vague third-party sourcing.

It gives you an overall risk grade, an exact quote for each finding, and a safer rewrite. Then you decide.

“The article contains several unsupported or inadequately sourced quantitative claims that could face scrutiny under FTC advertising substantiation standards — particularly the ‘14 times more profile views’ statistic attributed vaguely to ‘LinkedIn internal data’.”
— a real Claim Guard scan. Overall risk: MEDIUM · 7 findings.

We have not found another AI content tool that ships a claim-substantiation layer. If you find one, tell us.

A completed Claim Guard scan: overall risk MEDIUM with 7 findings. Each finding shows the exact sentence flagged, why it is risky, and a safer rewrite to apply or reject.
Citations

AI engines only quote what they can verify.

A confident sentence with nothing behind it is worthless to ChatGPT — and dangerous to you. So Writelio treats sourcing as part of the writing, not an afterthought.

While writing
It builds in the evidence

The strategy decides upfront which statistics the article should cite and which E-E-A-T signals it needs — before a sentence exists.

In the editor
It scans what you actually wrote

The Citations panel reads the finished draft back and shows you which claims carry a source — and which are floating free.

Before publish
It flags what can’t be backed

Claim Guard catches the “14× more views” statistic with a vague source. Fix it, or ship it knowing. Either way, you knew.

After publish
It checks if you got cited

The AI Visibility tracker records your citation rate — how often an engine doesn’t just mention you, but links you as the source.

Being mentioned is nice. Being cited is the one that sends traffic.
Find it

Stop guessing what to write next.

Gap Writer takes your domain and your competitors’, and finds every keyword they rank for and you don’t — with real volume and difficulty behind each one.

Then it clusters them into topics, scores each cluster by opportunity, and pre-fills the pipeline. One cluster, one article, one click.

Prove it

Trackers tell you AI ignores you. We fix it — and show you which article changed it.

Every AI-visibility tool on the market sells you a dashboard. They can all tell you that ChatGPT never mentions your brand. None of them can write the article that fixes it.

Writelio publishes and tracks. So when Perplexity starts citing you, we can point at the article that earned it.

Content pillars

The handful of themes you should be known for — each one expandable into a full cluster of articles.

Buyer personas

Who you are actually writing for, and what each of them is trying to decide.

Your content moat

The pieces only you could publish — the ones a competitor with the same AI tool cannot copy.

The “never write” list

Just as valuable: the topics that will waste your money. Most tools will happily sell you those articles. We tell you not to.

Pick a pillar → it becomes cluster articles → straight into the Content Planner. You never stare at an empty calendar again.

Mention Network

Backlinks you could show a Google engineer.

Everyone else’s “exchange” is you link to me, I link to you. Google has recognised that pattern for fifteen years. Ours is built so it never appears.

Never a direct swap

Matching is asymmetric — A mentions B, B mentions C, C mentions A. No two sites ever point at each other. That is the whole point.

Gated on domain rating

You set the floor. No links from sites you would be embarrassed to be seen with.

Editorial, not injected

The mention is suggested while the article is being written, in context, on topic — because it belongs there, not because a script pasted it in.

Verified live, then settled

Credits only settle once we have checked the published page and the link is actually there. No promises, no ghost links.

The questions nobody else answers

Straight answers.

Will AI content get penalised by Google?
Mass-produced, unreviewed content gets penalised — and that is exactly what autopilot tools produce. Google’s guidance targets content made primarily to game rankings, not the use of AI. Writelio researches the live SERP and real community discussions, then makes a human approve it. That is the difference between content and sludge.
Who is liable for claims an AI wrote?
You are. That is precisely why Claim Guard exists: it flags unsupported statistics, absolute performance claims and implied guarantees before you publish, and suggests safer wording. It is an editorial aid, not legal advice — but it means nothing ships unread.
Do I have to publish on autopilot?
No. Approval is on by default — the pipeline pauses and hands the decision back at strategy, outline, headline and final draft. Autopilot is the thing you switch on, not off. Every other tool ships it the other way round.
What are AEO, GEO and AIO — and why should I care?
Google is no longer the only place your buyer looks. AEO is being the answer (featured snippets, People Also Ask). GEO is being cited by generative engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity. AIO is being cleanly readable by Google’s AI Overviews. An article optimised only for blue links is invisible on three of the four surfaces. Writelio writes for all four and scores each 0–100 before you publish.
How do you know an AI engine actually cited me?
We ask them. The AI Visibility tracker puts the prompts your buyers actually use to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, and records whether your brand is named and your domain cited — then shows the gaps where a competitor is cited and you are not.
Does it just make up statistics?
The opposite — that is the failure mode we built against. Research comes from the live SERP and real community threads, not the model’s memory. Then Claim Guard reads the finished draft back and flags anything asserted without a verifiable source, including statistics with vague attribution.
Can it sound like us, not like a robot?
Yes. Brand and author profiles carry your voice, positioning and style into every draft, and the article prompt enforces human writing rules. And because it reads what real people say about the topic first, it tends to sound like it knows something — which is most of what “sounding human” actually is.
Where can I publish it?
Ten destinations, one click: WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, Shopify, Framer, Medium, Hashnode, HubSpot, Notion — or any custom endpoint via webhook. Connect once, publish everywhere.
Is there a free trial? Do I need a card?
Every account starts with a 7-day free trial — 7 full articles, no card required. You get the whole product during the trial, not a crippled version: Claim Guard, Gap Writer, AI Visibility, the editor and publishing.
What happens to my articles if I cancel?
They stay yours. Your library remains readable and you can always export your content. We do not hold your work hostage.
How long does one article take?
Minutes, not days — but it is not instant, because the research is real. It reads the live search results, the competing pages and actual community threads before it writes. If a tool hands you an article in ten seconds, it skipped all of that.
Can I use my own brand voice and authors?
Yes. Brand profiles carry your positioning, tone and colours; author profiles put a real byline and expertise behind the piece — which is also what E-E-A-T and generative engines look for.
Can my team work in this together?
Yes — shared workspaces, seats and role permissions, plus review states and inline comments on a draft. Agencies can run each client as a separate workspace with its own brands and authors.
Do you write in other languages?
Yes — you choose the article language and the target country, and the keyword research runs against that market, not a translated guess at it.
What if the keyword it picks is wrong?
You fix it. The engine proposes a seed keyword and pauses to show you before spending anything on research. You can also lock the headline, add mandatory keywords, and edit the outline before a word is written.
Is my content used to train anyone’s model?
No. We do not use your content to train, fine-tune or improve any AI model, and our AI providers are contractually barred from doing so with data sent through their APIs. Your articles, brands and research stay in your workspace, and you can export them at any time.
Can I import articles I already published?
Yes — connect Search Console and pull your existing pages in, so you can see which ones are sitting just off page one and refresh those first. Often the fastest traffic you will win.
What happens when I hit my article limit?
Nothing breaks. You keep full access to everything you have already written — editing, exporting, publishing. New generation waits until the next cycle or an upgrade.

Do ChatGPT and Perplexity actually cite you?

AI Visibility asks the engines the questions your buyers ask, records who gets named, and then writes the article that changes the answer. Not a dashboard that tells you you're invisible — the thing that fixes it.
